Description:

Meet Rosi! Rosi is a sweet, beautiful girl who recently came into our care. Her family did everything they could to help her adjust to having a new baby in the house, but in the end it was determined that it would be best for her to find a new home. Below is some information from her family!

"Rosi has always been high energy- standard herding behaviour. Her eyes are very light blue and slightly crossed so she doesn’t do very well at fetch with small things but loves to retrieve bigger sticks etc. She's a great swimmer. She barks when she’s excited and playing with other dogs. She does very well off leash, always comes when called. Will pull when on leash so we use a body harness. Try to bring her to a field 3-4 times a week but ideally she should be ran daily or live somewhere with large back yard. She knows how to shake a paw, sit, and wait before eating, etc. - shes disciplined and rather smart. We have her gated to the main floor of our house for 8 hours while we’re working (half hr at lunch she’s outside) some days we don’t make it home and she’s never had an accident. When we are in larger groups she has made me anxious with children - as kids tend to run and have quick movements she will chase them barking- nipping at their feet in a herding manner. She is great with adults and some other dogs once she knows them and is honestly very loving, lots of kisses and cuddles. She gets along fine with cats as well!"

If you think you could be the right fit for Rosi, please apply! We'll arrange a meet-and-greet as she is in foster care.
