Meet Roper! Roper is a handsome, sweet-as-can-be guy who came to us in rough shape. We'll start with all of the good stuff about his personality, then you can read his story of what he's overcome! Roper is a sweet, friendly, chatty guy who LOVES people and attention. He will meow at us so we stop by to give him some love, and he likes to be held and cuddled. He is playful and likes toys, and also enjoys interactive toys like snuffle-mats and treat puzzles! He is very food-motivated and likes wet food and tubie treats. He seems like he'd be okay with other friendly cats, or he can be the star of the show as a solo cat.

When Roper first came to us, he had been found outside with a rope tied around him. It had cut into the skin under his arm leading to a pretty severe injury. We got him the vet care he needed, and after he was stitched up he had buttons holding himself together! He needed lots of time to heal and recover from everything, but little by little he got better - and throughout it all, he was SO sweet and such a good boy. He let our staff do all of the needed cleaning every day, took his meds like a champ, and he wore his cone like a good boy (although he didn't like that part so much). As long as you'd give him a tubie treat, he'd let you do whatever you needed for him! We're happy to share that he is now ready to find his furever home, and he's sure going to be a special addition to some lucky family.
