Meet Max! Max is a cutie who came to us after surviving a house fire. He had come in with wounds to his ears as well as singed fur - he felt crunchy all over and needed some extra care. He was very nervous when he came to us after all he had been through, so once he was in a good place with his healing we were able to place him into a wonderful foster home. It took him some time to feel comfortable and to start coming out of his shell, but he turned into a snuggly lovebug with his foster mom! He loves to curl up on the couch with her or snooze in her lap. He still gets startled easily, so we feel he'll do best in a calm home environment. His adopter will need to understand that it'll take him some time to adjust to a new home environment, but with some love and patience he is totally best-friend-material! He is not a fan of dogs, but we think he'd love to have a kitty friend in his furever home. This guy deserves a loving home to call his own after all he's been through - could you be the one he's waiting for?
