Gallery of Dogs - March 2004 and Prior

Max was adopted from the shelter in 1997 as a 2 year old. He shares his home with a white husky named Fang and numerous feline friends who don't bother him one bit.
You can find Chester in the October 2009 Pet Stories with his buddy Jazz.
You can find RJ, who was adopted around March 2003, in the May 2007 Pet Stories.

This is Scooby when he was adopted in March 2006 and below are photos his family sent in two years later in March 2006. They write that he has been a challenging pup but is really doing well now that he is older and they love him dearly. His mom says,
"He really is a great dog (after a lot of puppy school). He is my first dog, and a great friend to my son. Scooby really enjoys curling up in bed with us to chew a bone while we all read a story together. Scooby has wonderful personality and is absolutely great with our little boy. "

Irish setter Boots was adopted approximately September 2003.

This Akita Husky mix was named Kabibble during her stay at the shelter and is now known as Kira.

Sport is a Schnoodle (miniature Schnauzer Poodle mix) who was adopted from the Shelter on Halloween 2001.
Jasper was adopted in August of 2000. His story is in Pet Stories for June 2005.
This big handsome Great Dane / Rottie mix named Zeus is an easygoing guy.
He was adopted about 3 years ago from the shelter and has been a loyal companion over the years.
The left-hand udpate photo - November 2004 - shows Code, whose shelter name was Chopper. He looks very healthy and lives with Dodger, one of the cats adopted in April 2004.
 
Parker kept things very
lively at the shelter.
Desparado was one happy
and energetic dog.
Buddy was very nervous when
he first came to the shelter
but found a home quickly.
These two quiet senior girls both found homes after a long wait.
This lucky little fella was in his pen for only one day when he was adopted. He was a very friendly little Rotty.
Senior Butch was a very contented and happy type of dog and found a home after quite a wait.
Nip sure liked jumping fences.
Little Avalanche was one dainty and sweet little girl.

After recuperating from an accident, Chevy, the sweet dog, found a home.

 

Asia is one lovable pooch who is a member of the doggie family of one of the shelter staff. She was adopted a couple of years ago, but she deserves an honorable mention since she is so sweet.

 

Good natured five year old Neeko loves to chase squirrels and chipmunks, never catching any, but invigorated by the chase. Neeko is the new little brother to Dixie, a seven year old Pomeranian. Neeko may out-weigh Dixie by about 10 lbs., but he's so happy to have a loving home, that he lets Dixie retain the "big sister" dominance.
Angel was adopted August 2003 as Dakota and shares her home with 2 shelter cats, sister and brother Ginger and Rye.
Beautiful Sieko was adopted from the shelter a few years ago in April 2001.
Sweet little Jazz, also known as Dolly or Shania, was adopted from the shelter in April 2001.
