Meet Bambi! Bambi came to us from an overcrowding situation and was very scared and timid. She started to warm up to the few staff members who would consistently work with her, but was still nervous around others. We sent her to a foster home to give her a break from the shelter environment so she could learn how to coexist with people in a calmer space, and she is thriving! Her foster mom says she likes to cuddle on the couch, sleep in bed with her at night, and is still fun and playful. She is more timid of men, but has been getting used to her foster dad as well. With patience she could be the perfect companion!
