Daffodil has been with us for a while getting on the road to recovery, and now she is ready for her forever home! She is a 5-year-old Newfoundland, and was sadly surrendered to us due to her numerous health concerns/due to the care she needed. Daffodil has had quite the transformation in the last couple months - she came in with very little vision or hearing, and severe skin issues. She spent most of her day sleeping and was very calm and slow paced. After lots of vet care, medication, and love from the staff, Daffodil has become a whole different dog and found her joyful spirit. She is energetic and playful, and she loves to zoom with a toy in her mouth. She is full of love and wiggles, and can’t get enough petting and snuggles! She is very strong on a leash, and does sometimes jump; but she has been settling and would likely do well once she has consistency. Daffodil does have some medical needs that will continue for the duration of her life including Daily medication, eye drops, and a special diet. She also has a medicated shampoo to use as needed. We know it might sound like a lot, but this girl is deserving of her perfect furever home!
